WHY YOU NEED A WEBSITE
In the recent years, websites have become less of an option and more
of a necessity for business. The simple fact is that more and more people
are searching, and shopping online, and why not? The world wide web
has endless information, and there are many alternatives in how that
data is displayed. So what are you going to do to tap into this market?
When are you going to take the leap into cyberspace?
In a recent survey of New Zealand businesses conducted by Deloitte
Touche Tohmatsu*, it was found that "...organisations are under-utilising
the tools and technologies they have available to change or enhance
elements of their business"*. How could your business better
utilise those tools?
Getting a website isn't a question of "if", it's a question
of "when". "A high proportion of planned e-Business development will be directed towards websites for 73.1% of respondents... 38.4%
are planning to invest in developing online sales (almost double the
current adoption levels of online sales currently)"*. What does
this all mean? Firstly it means that the major spending on e-Business
development is a website, for most companies. And secondly, planned
adoption of online sales is booming.
The report goes on to say: "while 21.5% of respondents had spent
nothing to date on e-Business only 6.1% planned to spend nothing within
the next year."* Simply put, if you plan to ignore the benefits
of building an e-Business strategy, you will be left behind.
It was also found that only 20.4% of respondents felt e-Business
impact on their organisation would be Negligible or less, while
over 25% felt the impact would be substantial.*
So what does all this add up to? You need a webpage! So with this
established, you should find out why you should choose us!
